Our Process
The project begins with an initial consultation to review the Client’s goals, style preferences, functional needs, and overall project vision.
Services may include:
• In-home or virtual consultation
• Review of Client lifestyle needs and design goals
• Evaluation of existing layout and furnishings
• Preliminary discussion of budget and timeline
• Identification of renovation vs. furnishing needs
• Guidance on overall design direction and aesthetic
Deliverables may include:
• Initial design direction
• Style references or inspiration images
• Preliminary design recommendations
PHASE 1: DISCOVERY & DESIGN CONSULTATION
Designer will develop the overall design concept and layout for the space(s).
Services may include:
• Space planning and furniture layout options
• Design concept development
• Color palette development
• Material and finish recommendations
• Lighting concept planning
• Initial furniture direction and styling concepts
Deliverables may include:
• Concept board or mood board
• Floor plan or layout plan
• Design direction summary
PHASE 2: SPACE PLANNING & DESIGN CONCEPT
(For renovation, kitchen, or bathroom projects)
Designer will assist with the selection of materials and finishes that align with the approved design concept.
Services may include:
• Cabinetry design guidance
• Countertop selections
• Tile and flooring selections
• Plumbing fixture recommendations
• Hardware and finish selections
• Paint color selection
• Lighting fixture recommendations
Deliverables may include:
• Finish schedule
• Product selections list
• Material sample guidance
PHASE 3: MATERIAL & FINISH SELECTIONS
PHASE 4: FURNITURE & DECOR SOURCING
Designer will source furniture, lighting, and decorative items for the project.
Services may include:
• Furniture sourcing from retail and trade vendors
• Lighting, rug, and accessory selections
• Window treatment recommendations
• Artwork and décor guidance
• Budget guidance for furnishings
Deliverables may include:
• Furniture sourcing list
• Product specifications
• Budget estimates
PHASE 5: PROCUREMENT & ORDER MANAGEMENT (If selected)
If the Client chooses Designer procurement services, Designer will coordinate ordering and delivery of furnishings.
Services may include:
• Ordering furniture, lighting, and décor
• Tracking orders and vendor communication
• Coordination of delivery scheduling
• Managing vendor logistics
Client must approve all items prior to ordering and provide payment in full for all purchases.
PHASE 6: PROJECT COORDINATION (Optional)
Designer may coordinate with contractors, trades, or installers to support implementation of the design plan.
Services may include:
• Communication with contractors regarding design details
• Clarification of design intent
• Site visits to review installation progress
• Review of materials and finishes during installation
Designer does not supervise construction and is not responsible for contractor performance or workmanship.
PHASE 7: INSTALLATION & FINAL STYLING (If applicable)
Designer may coordinate with contractors, trades, or installers to support implementation of the design plan.
Services may include:
• Communication with contractors regarding design details
• Clarification of design intent
• Site visits to review installation progress
• Review of materials and finishes during installation
Designer does not supervise construction and is not responsible for contractor performance or workmanship.
